To ensure that you get the most from your Montchavin ski holiday, on five days a week, our ski hosts will show you the best on piste skiing all over the Paradise, la Plagne and les Arcs ski area, one of the most extensive in France.

Fully Catered Ski Chalet

Our chalet is fully catered. This includes breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner with unlimited wine for 6 days. On the seventh day there is breakfast and afternoon tea but not dinner. This is much better value than staying in self catered apartments or hotels in la Plagne.

Traditional Chalet la Plagne

Chalet Bonjour-Versoye is a beautiful traditional alpine ski chalet, full of alpine surprises and charm. They do not come any better than this for a ski holiday Montchavin style. Unlike so many other properties advertised as a la Plagne Chalet, it is not in an apartment or above shops but is instead a charming traditional building in it’s own right.

Pretty Old Village

Montchavin, la Plagne is arguably the prettiest of all the villages in the French Alps. It is perched at the top end of the valley and has spectacular panoramic views of Mont Blanc. The ski resort of Montchavin has retained the appeal of a traditional old farming hamlet with narrow streets and charming wooden chalets, but remains perfectly placed to access some of the best skiing in Europe. However if you are wanting a “full on” club scene, do not come here!

Snowsure

The pistes down to Montchavin la Plagne are serviced by 277 snow cannons. As many pistes in la Plagne are above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured late into the season.

Weekly Picnic

From mid-season onwards, weather permitting, the chalet chef puts together a special picnic. This is a grand affair, held on the mountain at a pre-arranged spot, where all our guests, both those with the ski hosts and those on their own, meet up. Food consists of quiche, pizza, pasta dishes, soup, sandwiches, crisps, chocolate bars, washed down with beer, vin chaud or soft drinks. This is great socially and fantastic value for money! Minimum of 10 guests required.
